• Motorization (Eastern): SunScape motor options run about $665–$806. Shademaker models are motorized as standard.
• Wind and weather sensors: Somfy Eolis 3D wind sensor $308, Sunis sun sensor $263, Ondeis rain and sun sensor $407 (Shademaker). The Sunflexx Wind & Rain Package runs $730–$2,314.
• Hoods and end covers: SunScape $356–$895, Sunflexx $433–$1,126. Zeus and full-cassette Apollo already enclose the fabric.
• LED lighting: Zeus arm LED kits $753 (2-arm), $1,055 (3-arm), $1,506 (4-arm); Helios and Hercules LED kits $682.
• Drop shades and valances: Sunflexx drop valance $853–$1,873; Apollo motorized drop shade $1,927–$2,860.

What drives the price

• Width and projection: the biggest factor. Projection (how far it reaches out) raises price faster than width.
• Housing: open-roll < semi-cassette/hood < full cassette.
• Motor and controls: remote, wall switch, smart-home integration, grouped controls for commercial jobs.
• Fabric: Sunbrella® and solution-dyed acrylic options; specialty colors can move the price.
• Mounting: wall mount is standard; roof or soffit brackets cost more.

Installation cost

Installation is quoted separately because it depends on your wall (block, stucco over block, wood frame), mounting height, whether power is already at the wall, and your local permit requirements.
