Bahama ClearView

The Bahama ClearView is the Bahama shutter you can see through. Its angled aluminum louvers keep direct sun off the glass while you look out and down between them, so you get shade, privacy from the street and airflow without giving up your view. It's also our lowest-priced working Bahama shutter, from $852.

ClearView is built for the windows you actually look out of: a water view off the living room, a pool deck, a second-floor bedroom facing the yard. Each shutter is cut, welded and powder coated to your size in our Tampa factory and ships in about 2–3 weeks.

ClearView or DecoView?

ClearView questions

Can people see in through a ClearView shutter?
From the street, the angled louvers mostly block the view into the room, while you can still see out from inside. For more privacy, choose DecoView.

Does ClearView still cut heat?
Yes. It stops direct sun before it reaches the glass, which is the most effective way to reduce heat gain and glare. It lets in more light than ShadeView.

Do I need a permit?
Many Florida jurisdictions require one. If yours asks for engineering, add a stamped letter from Extra Services ($350 standard, $500 expanded).
