The Bahama ShadeView is our classic Bahama shutter, built first for shade. It's the one to put on the hot side of the house: west- and south-facing windows where afternoon sun heats rooms and fades floors. The louvers block direct sun and let filtered light and air through, and you choose adjustable or fixed arms to set the angle.
ShadeView also works on faux windows and open walls when you want a working shutter's depth and shadow line. Every shutter is made to your size in our Tampa factory and ships to the 48 contiguous states, usually in 2–3 weeks.

ShadeView is the pick when heat is the problem. If you'd rather keep a clear view out, ClearView costs a little less and is easier to see through. For decoration only, FauxView is the budget option. Compare all four in the Bahama shutter comparison.
Adjustable or fixed arms?
Adjustable arms let you change the angle through the seasons and lower the shutter over the window. Fixed arms hold one set angle for a clean, permanent look.
Can I see out through ShadeView?
You get a filtered view. If a clear view matters, choose ClearView or DecoView.
Will it hold up to salt air?
Yes. It's all aluminum with a powder-coat finish, so it won't rust, rot or need painting. Rinse it with a hose to clean it.
