Sunflexx Retractable Awning Features

The Sunflexx is Eastern’s premium lateral-arm retractable awning, engineered for full-sun patios and decks. It pairs a heavy-duty aluminum frame with marine-grade acrylic fabric for years of fade-resistant, weather-tough shade. Its patented urethane compression shoulder joint lets the arm flex under upward or downward wind force instead of transferring that load into the casting, and the line carries certified engineered wind load ratings and a 15-year frame warranty. Add a motor with remote, a wind/rain sensor for hands-free protection, a protective hood, or a drop valance for low-sun afternoons.

Add-On Options

  • Motorization — Somfy motor with handheld remote.
  • Sunflexx Wind & Rain Package — drop-down support legs with locking pins that steady the awning in breezy or showery weather (from $730).
  • Hood & hood end covers — protects the fabric when retracted (from $433).
  • Drop valance — extra coverage from low sun (from $853).
