Made in the USA: What In-House Awning Manufacturing Actually Means for You

20 Jun 2026 0 comments

"Made in the USA" gets stamped on a lot of products that are really just assembled here from imported parts. When we say we manufacture in-house, we mean it literally: we extrude the aluminum profiles, apply the powder coating and wood-grain finishes, and fabricate the awnings ourselves, under one roof. Here's why that's more than a slogan.

Customization that importers can't match

When you control your own manufacturing, you can build anything. That's how we make awnings to your exact opening — down to 1/16 of an inch — instead of forcing you into a handful of catalog sizes. It's also how we offer more powder-coat colors and wood-grain aluminum sublimation than sellers who simply resell whatever a supplier ships them.

Quality you can actually verify

In-house production means we control the material and the standards at every step. We use commercial-grade extruded profiles — not thin roll-formed sheet — and we can produce CAD drawings of your specific awning so you can confirm the design before we build it. Try getting that from an overseas catalog.

Better pricing, because there's no middleman

Every hand a product passes through adds margin. Because we make it and sell it directly, you're not paying for an importer, a distributor, and a dealer stacked on top of each other. You're buying factory-direct from the people who actually built it.

Speed, support, and accountability

When manufacturing is local and in-house, custom orders move faster, problems get solved by the people who made the product, and there's no ocean freight or language barrier between you and a fix. We've delivered custom-crated systems to some of the most recognized national retailers and large general contractors in the country — and we back high-end residential projects with the same standards.

Frequently asked questions

Is everything really made in-house?

Yes — extrusion, finishing, and fabrication happen under our own roof, not assembled from imported components.

Does made-in-USA mean it costs more?

Not the way we do it. Because we sell factory-direct with no middleman markup, you get American-made quality without the resale markup.

Can you handle large commercial orders?

Yes. We produce custom-crated systems for national retailers and general contractors, and we're growing a national dealer network for installation support.
