Aluminum Canopies & Awnings for General Contractors

On a large project, the canopy package is a small line item that can hold up a certificate of occupancy. 1800Awnings fabricates architectural aluminum canopies, walkway covers and awnings in our own Tampa plant — cutting, welding, powder coating and crating in-house — so general contractors get shop drawings on time, a predictable lead time, and units that arrive labeled and ready for the installing crew.

Why GCs Work Directly With the Factory

When frames are fabricated in one shop and coated in another, every hand-off adds time and risk. We cut, weld, powder coat and crate under one roof in Tampa, so the lead time we quote is set by our own production schedule. Large phases are built and crated together — multiple buildings' worth of matching units can ship on one truck.

Our standard model is build, crate and ship: your installer or ours hangs the units. In the Tampa Bay area our own crews can install.

Typical Project Types

Multifamily and condo entries, hotel arrival canopies, medical office and school walkways, retail and restaurant storefronts, self-storage and flex-industrial facades, and national-account roll-outs built to a brand standard.

Every unit is built in our own plant at 4608 N. Hale Ave in Tampa: aluminum extrusions are cut and welded by our fabricators, powder coated in-house to any RAL color or finished in aluminum woodgrain, then wrapped and custom-crated by the same crew. All-aluminum frames and stainless fasteners mean there is no steel to rust in salt air.
